 Una dintre trupele care cântă goth pur fără mari influenţe de doom, dark sau celtic-folk este ,,Blutengel''. Membrii trupei sunt: Chris Pohl-voce, textier, Viki Scarlet, Ulrike Goldman, Maria Rehfeld, Anja Milow şi Jenny. Albume: Child of glass, Tranenherz, Seelencshmerz, Schwarzes eis, Angel dust, Demon kiss şi Labyrinth.

Propun de pe albumul ,,Seelenschmerz'' melodia ,,Die with you''. Această melodie ca şi întreaga discografie Blutengel nu are nimic comercial. Blutengel se adresează cunoscătorilor de goth şi mai puţin celor care nu cunosc acest gen. ,,Die With you'' este fără îndoială o capodoperă a genului.
